After undergoing refurbishment for approximately 6 months, the flagship Tower Wing of the Shangri-la Singapore will reopen to guests on the 16th of May 2017 with a new look. The renovated Tower Wing will feature not only new rooms but also a couple of new food and beverage concepts, a new Horizon Club Lounge and areas catering to families.
I dropped by Shangri-la Singapore last November just when the Tower Wing closed down for renovation. I had a look at the room mock-ups. The new rooms will feature a similar look. Some pictures below:

The refurbished rooms are definitely a lot more modern and are actually a bit of a departure from the “Lost Horizon” theme permeating other Shangri-la properties.
A quick check at the Shangri-la website shows an average rate of SGD 380++ for stays at the renovated wing. They are throwing in free breakfast at The Line for stays within the first month of the reopening.
What do you think of the new look of the Tower Wing of Shangri-la Singapore?
