From 30th April to 14 May 2017, 8 hawkers from Tiong Bahru Hawker Centre are coming to The Clifford Pier at Fullerton Bay Hotel to do what they do best and prepare their respective specialties as guests revel in the unparalleled ambiance of the historic dining venue. For those wondering – why bother coming here for hawker food? – Tiong Bahru Hawker Centre is in the midst of a renovation at the moment so this is the only place you can sample some of the centre’s well-known chwee kueh, tau suan, carrot cake, lor mee and more.
During a preview, I chanced upon 5 of the 8 hawkers that will be in The Clifford Pier for the 2-week pop-up. Check out the spread.
