Like you I am interested in taking a day trip to the Tham Khao Luang Cave in Petchaburi. I do not want to take the train or a mini-bus and like you prefer to hire a car. Can you tell me what company you used and the round trip cost? I have not been able to find any tours from Bangkok to the caves. Only from Hua Hin. Since I will be going from Bangkok my best option is to hire a car. I’ll appreciate any information you can provide. I have been to Bangkok many times and know my way around, but have not been to Petchaburi yet. Thank you.
