I live between Paris and New York.
I’m planning my March south Vietnam trip. I want to see Saigon, the Mekong Delta, Nha Trang, Dalat, Hoi An.
How many days do you suggest I should stay in each town? I was thinking of skipping Danang because it seems like a big Disneyland, what do you think?

Flight or train. Hue is definitely good for a whole day if not more. Then drive down to Da Nang via Hai Van pass. Halt at Lan Co Bay for seafood. It’s a fabulous drive. You may stay at Da Nang or proceed directly to Hoi An. Minimum 2 to 3 nights at Hoi An. If you’re flying out of Da Nang then spend a day there. All the sights of Da Nang can however be done from Hoi An

Your site is very useful. we are travelling from Hanoi to central Vietnam and then we need to proceed to Ho chi.
We have like 2 days and one night and are 2 ladies. Kindly suggest, whether we need to take flight from hanoi to Hue /Hoi an.
How about the onward flight to Ho chi, from where to we have to book it.(Hoi an, Hue or Danang)
