In reply to julia. Sounds like a great plan! September is shoulder season in these places so the crowds won't be as much! For clothing, a like jacket will do as it's still transitioning to fall.

Hi i am going to prague vienna and budapest in late sep 14. Any advice for us? We are travelling by rail from one city to another. What sort of clothings to bring? We have 3 nights per city. Is it safe there? Thank you

I really like Vienna. I’ve been there a couple of times for business trips and I was lucky to have enough time to visit the city. I especially liked the prunksaal and the state opera house, they are definitely a must-see in Vienna. And of course the sachertorte, this cake is just delicious
