Emirates Skywards Partners With MilesLife – Up to 5 Miles per S$ Spend!

Emirates Skywards, the frequent flyer programme of Emirates, has partnered with Mileslife, the app that allows earning of miles through lifestyle and dining purchases. A few months ago, I wrote about Mileslife and how they have compelling dining and lifestyle partners such as Crystal Jade and the restaurants at Capella Singapore. Payments using the app at these establishments allow for earning of miles with a number of airline frequent flyer programmes (i.e. you can earn anywhere from 1 to 5 miles per S$ spent at these dining or lifestyle partners). Emirates is the latest airline to partner with them. In case you have not signed up with Mileslife yet, you can sign up HERE and receive 1,000 additional miles with your first spend.

The tie up between Emirates Skywards and Mileslife allow for earning up to 5 miles per S$ spent. Emirates Skywards members can also earn additional miles based on their membership tier – Silver members earn 25% bonus miles, Gold members earn 50% bonus miles while Platinum members earn 75% bonus miles.

To celebrate the new partnership, Mileslife users who link up their Emirates Skywards membership (if you don’t have one, you can sign up for free HERE) earn 200 Skywards Miles instantly. There will also be triple Skywards Miles credited for purchases made through the Mileslife app (remember to choose to credit to your Emirates Skywards account under the settings) until 30th November 2017.

Since I last wrote about Mileslife, the app has expanded its list of partners to encompass mid-to-high end restaurants, recreational activities, premium spas, wellness centers, exclusive boutique hotels, luxury resorts and even train travel. Some of the current partner merchants include Michelin-starred restaurants such as Bacchanalia and popular F&B outlets such as Crystal Jade Group, Salt Grill & Sky Bar and Artemis Grill; hotels and spas such as Capella Singapore, Belmond, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts, Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts, The Fullerton Hotels, and many more.

The new partnership provides another avenue for Singapore residents to earn Skywards Miles. Emirates is not part of any major alliances although it has individual partnerships with a number of airlines. The airline also services quite a few routes directly out of Singapore including Colombo, Dubai, Melbourne If you are yearning to try out Emirates’ luxurious business class and first class flights (I am!), the Mileslife tie-up presents another way to quicken up that award redemption.
