Yikes! Quite worrying to see you had an experience like this! I stayed also recently and fortunately, everything was good.

Just the check-in is taking up so much time almost “stand in the queue for there for 25mins!
Step into hotel room, check the fridge and found only 4 cans of soda drinks. My goodness 5star hotel “Complimentary minibar with snacks” only got 4 cans of soda drinks??? They mention will refill the fridge immediately. The refill take 1hr 15mins. Isn’t it too slow???
Next… I notice both the bathrobes was not tied up properly and kind of messy even though it was hang up on the hook. It definitely look like someone worn that bathrobe.
Follow up … I open up the blanket, found strand of hair on the bed and a dark orange colour stain on my blanket . I compliant to the housekeeper and he say the supervisior will come over to talk to me. After waiting for 5 minutes, the housekeeper came back and immediately change out the bed sheet, blanket and bathrobes without any explanation. I feel that there was no explanation and the team just merely wants to cover up the mistakes. I felt that I was not being valued as an important guest.

My expectation for 5 star hotel is fast & excellent service, top priority on guest, hygiene and cleanliness as well. But isn’t Covid19 situation the hotel should focus more on the cleanliness and hygiene. (***Me and my hubby actually thought I’m paying high-priced for a 3 star hotel stay.)

If u ever thought about staycation at ANDAZ, please think twice.
