The month of June is expected to be quieter where buffets are concerned, with the exception of Father’s Day. School holidays dominate the month which means that many families may go overseas rather than stay in Singapore. It is a quieter month for the F&B sector.

Peppermint’s buffet
Peppermint also has a very decent buffet – their main differentiating factor being the sustained use of herbs and even vegetables grown from the hotel’s own garden. While rooftop gardens have become quite popular among hotels in Singapore, this property’s vegetable garden is among the biggest I have seen in the country’s hospitality sector and it supplies 20% of Peppermint’s herbs and vegetable needs. Their dishes change often depending on the season. Highlights in the past have included Crustacean Otak Otak, Black Truffle Bak Chor Mee with Rock Lobster and Urban Farm Chili Sambal Jumbo Squid Tentacles.
Peppermint is offering its Korean buffet until 2nd June, after which they will switch to a “Flavours of the Sea” seafood buffet from 7th to 28th June.

Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium
Gather friends and loved ones for buffet dinner at Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium. Their buffet offers a showcase of local and international flavors. Expect the likes of Spring Chicken, Lamb Chop, Sambal Squid, Otah-Otah and more at their BBQ Corner. This is in addition to staples such as Beef Rendang, Ayam Masak Merah and Sambal Kang Kong as well as Executive Chef Chua’s Signature Laksa.
Until 28th July, Atrium Restaurant will be switching to its International Buffet with the likes of Wok-fried Penang Kuey Teow with Shrimp, Freshly-made Roti Prata, Hainanese Chicken Rice, Nasi Briyani, DIY Kueh Pie Tie and more. On weekends or for dinner, menus are upsized to include Poached Tiger Prawns, Japanese Sweet Clam, Rock Lobster, Half Shell Scallop, among others.

Hilton Singapore Orchard
Estate is the hotel’s all-day dining and buffet restaurant. The 340-seater space is cavernous and surprisingly feels rather intimate with its partially-enclosed spaces. The buffet here promises to NOT be run-of-the-mill, with highlights such as Gochujang Tacos, Black Truffle Duck, Honey Soy-Glazed Short Ribs and a wide variety of skewers. They are also popular for the wide variety of seafood in the cold seafood section as well as freshly-shucked oysters. For Friday and Saturday dinners only, Estate is having a Seafood & Wine buffet featuring the likes of Maine Lobster, Snow Crab, Freshly Shucked Seasonal Oyster, Crab with White Sarawak Pepper and more. They also have a Grand Sunday Champagne Brunch with additional food highlights and even activities for the kids such as a magician, board games, canvas painting and more.
For the month of June, Estate is continuing with its usual schedule except for 14th to 16th June when the restaurant will offer a Father’s Day Buffet / Grand Sunday Brunch. Expect premium offerings such as an Oyster & Seafood Bar, over 37 types of European cheese with new live Raclette station, Chilli Crab with Mantou, Signature Black Truffle Roasted Duck, Crispy Mochi Ice Cream Waffles and more.

M Hotel Singapore

*Cheap Buffet Deal* Cafe 2000 at M Hotel Singapore is currently offering the Crustaceans Galore Buffet for both weekday and weekend lunch and dinner. For dinner, they offer a BBQ Buffet featuring an alfresco barbecue station. Seafood selection in the buffet include Ocean Scallop, Slipper Lobster, Poached Tiger Prawn and Alaskan Snow Crab. Meat selection include Rosemary and Garlic Marinated Lamb Chops, Wagyu Beef Sausage and more.

Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore
J65 at Hotel Jen Tanglin Singapore offers various types of buffets, depending on the day of the week. For Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday; expect the likes of a Korean station filled with Tteok Bokki, Jap Chae, Jjim Dak (Braised Chicken) and Seafood Pancake as well as traditional delights like Soto Ayam, Steamed Kampong Chicken and Oxtail Soup. The beverage selection is included in the buffet and comprises of the likes of teh tarik, bandung and ice lime juice.
A Lobster Rock and Roll Buffet fills the spread every Wednesday with dishes such as Lobster in Singapore Chili Crab Sauce, Kam Heong Lobster and Laksa with Baby Lobster. Every Friday and Saturday, the hotel offers a Seafood Mania Buffet with highlights such as Fish Curry with Okra, Seafood Chowder, Oysters as well as some lobster dishes.

The Fullerton Hotel

The buffet at Town Restaurant is now available daily for executive buffet lunch on weekdays, international buffet lunch on Saturdays and a champagne brunch on Sundays. Depending on which day you come, you can expect a number of local delights such as Gochujang Chili-glazed Salmon Fillet, Snow Crab Leg and Alaskan King Crab on ice being served alongside a variety of Asian and Western favorites. They also have a laksa station as well as fresh sashimi on ice.
Until 27th July, Town Restaurant is offering its Heritage Hawker Stories III Buffet from Wednesdays to Saturdays for dinner with live stations helmed by To-Ricos Kway Chap and Warong Serembat Satay. On the 16th June, Town Restaurant will be offering a Father’s Day Sunday Brunch.

PARKROYAL Beach Road
Ginger is one of the halal hotel buffet restaurants in Singapore. Expect a well-rounded spread with the likes of Singapore Chili Crab, Angus Beef Steak, Old School Hainanese Chicken Chop, a variety of sashimi as well as Boston Lobster on weekends. The buffet at Ginger is available from daily for both lunch and dinner with a slightly higher pricing for weekend visits.

Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre

Window on the Park, the all-day restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard City Centre is offering up to 50% off or 1-for-1 for its dinner buffet. Diners can expect dishes like Roasted Lamb Leg with Black Pepper Sauce as well as local highlights like Braised Chicken with Bittergourd as well as Wok Fried White Clams and dessert section. Prices vary depending on lunch or dinner sitting as well as between weekday and weekends.
For the month of May, Window on the Park will be offering its Mother’s Day Buffet on the 11th and 12th of May for both lunch and dinner with free-flow oysters and lobsters during these days, aside from their usual repertoire.

Beach Road Kitchen at JW Marriott Singapore South Beach is one of the most accessible hotel buffets in Singapore. Their “Chefs on Show” spread is always huge and the quality is always superb. Many dishes are cooked on the spot such as in the grills section. Dishes to look out for include the Signature Chili Crab, Beef Tomahawk, Grilled Catch of the Day and more. Their cold seafood section includes fresh oysters and snow crab so what’s not to like?! Their Italian themed desserts is also a highlight. I love their Soursop Cake and Tiramisu.

Pan Pacific Singapore
Edge at Pan Pacific Singapore offers some of the most well-rounded buffets in the country with its countless buffet stations. For this month, you can expect some items such as Singapore Chili Crab, Lamb Leg with Kachumber, Nyonya Five Spice Kurobuta Pork Sausage and Rickshaw Noodle and more.
Edge is currently suspended from offering its buffet due incidences of gastroenteritis by some diners. The hotel is instead offering its international buffet at Pan Pacific Emporium for S$55++ for the month of June.

Nobu at Four Seasons Singapore has a popular Japanese-themed weekend brunch that frequently gets booked out well in advance. Available every Saturday and Sunday, the “Taste of Nobu” weekend brunch runs through some of the house specialties of this iconic restaurant chain. This buffet is served in 2 formats – thru a self-service buffet counter featuring fresh sushi and sashimi and desserts as well as a bottomless ala carte menu featuring signature dishes. Of the hotel buffets I have visited under the new normal, Shangri-la Singapore’s has one of the longest buffet spreads. The Line’s buffet has the theme “flavors of the world” and indeed, the menu is a run through of international cuisine. Featuring over 35 dishes, diners can expect mainstays from Japanese, Western, Indian and even local cuisine.
Every Fridays, The Line is offering a Surf and Turf dinner with a balanced selection of meats and seafood with outdoor BBQ section. Every Thursdays, The Line is offering a Seafood Extravaganza dinner for those inclined to the delights of the sea. There will be an outdoor BBQ section as well on Thursdays with a purely seafood selection such as Slipper Lobster, Turmeric Squid, Tandoori Prawns and more.

Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore

Colony at Ritz Carlton Millenia Singapore is one of the Lion City’s most popular buffets. Personally, I have found their offerings to be of consistently high quality – with many deliciously concocted dishes despite the mass-produced nature.
Colony offers a standard buffet for Monday to Saturday lunch and Sunday to Thursday dinner. I dropped by on a Friday to check out their Seafood Dinner (S$112 per adult / S$56 per child on Fridays and Saturdays) and was quite impressed with the level of service and also the way dishes were presented.

Highlights during the seafood dinner include the A la Plancha Boston Lobster, Beef Rib (my personal favorite), Wok-fried Pork Leg Bee Hoon and the Colony Peanut Wrap.
Aside from the Seafood Dinner on Fridays and Sundays, Colony also has its Sunday Champagne Brunch (S$198++ per adult) served in a similar format.
